This Haiku monument was built by the temptation of Masatome Kubo, the present of Misaka public Hall, and others.
When summer has come, the pleasant wind across green paddy field at the back blow gently and blue reed screens were hanging in every house in order to enjoy the cool.
Dondro River (the present Miyamae River) flow the back of the shrine reached Mitsu and small boats were used to convey goods at that time. The sub-monument said ;
"In the summer of 1889 (Meiji 22), when Shiki had been in home, he listed the following matters as the events observed by himself.
The rail line for nimble train was laid, Tachibana Bridge was repaired into the railway bridge,
the parade ground of Johoku was open,
public hall was built in Kaya-cho,
the playhouse called Shinei-za was on."
