Takahama-cho(Showa Bridge)

This Haiku appeared in Shiki's Haiku poetry "Kanzan-Rakuboku" Volume 1;"the winter of the end of 1992(Meiji 25)".
This monument had been built at the bus stop of Kuroiwaguchi of Iyo Railway Company, the side of the Showa Bridge that lies halfway between Baishin-ji Temple Station and Takahama Station of Takahama Line of Iyo Railway Company.
There is no record on the monument but this monument must have been built to celebrate of the completion of this bridge. The enlargement of Shiki's own hand writing.
