The tea shop of Higashino placed in the tract of the hill where located in the west part of the prefectural experiment station. In 1658 (Meireki 4), Sadayuki Matsudaira, the first leader of the Matsuyama feudal domain, who succeeded his post to his heir, Sadayori, built this tea shop in Higashino as his another house for retirement.
