The schoolhouse of Matsuyama Junior Highschool as of 1895(Meiji 28) when Soseki Natsume came Matsuyama as an English teacher.
Meikyo-kan ,Matsuyama feudal domain school, had already been brought over from this place to 4-chome, 2 ban-cho, the location of the present "The Fisheries Hall".
