Mikiji-san



People lived in Matsuyama referred to Mt. Miyukiji as "Mikiji-san".
It is not far off from the Johoku campus of Ehime Univ. and has a height of 164 meters and is slightly higher than the Castle Hill.
According to an acient tradition, a long-nosed goblin has been used to inhabit the Mountain since long ago.
The all place over the foot of the Mountain, had inaccessible figure, used to be sparsely-popurated. These days, it remained the circumstances in the old time around the back of Gokoku-shrine.
