Senshuji Temple is the reputable Zen-temple of Obaku Sect, that was opened by Chinese priest, "Sokuhi", in 1687 (Teiryo 4).
Because of the war damage, only the main gate of the temple had been remained.
The frame of "Kainan Houkutsu" on the gate was written by the priest of high virtue,"Sokuhi".
The Haiku monuments of Shiki, Kyoushi and Yoshisada were built in this precincts.
