This is 52nd sacred temple, is situated halfway up the Kyogamori hill to the last of Takahama port. It was originally built by Gyoki, the most famous Buddhist master of Nara Era. Its main hall is designated as a national treasure; Its Nio-mon gate and Juichi-men Kannon , an image with eleven faces, as important cultural prorerties.
There is a specular view of the Seto Inland Sea from the top of Kyogamori hill.
